COMPREHENSIVE, COST-EFFECTIVE LEGAL SERVICES
Medical professionals struggle with high stakes matters every day, making life-changing decisions during surgery, patient consultations or other aspects of their practice. Legal issues that arise as a result of professional license complaints, an appeal or another complex concern can add stress at an already challenging time.
When you need a proven legal ally to defend your license, your financial well-being and your future, turn to our team at Perez Health Law. Located in South Florida, our boutique firm offers an array of services at a cost-effective rate. Our firm’s founder, Elizabeth Perez, has extensive experience with administration hearings, contract review and litigation. We know how the Florida legal system operates and are ready to put our insight and experience to work for you.
Elizabeth Perez is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has a broad background in criminal law, litigation and health care law. She is uniquely qualified to represent health care clients in a wide range of matters, including criminal investigations, commercial and civil litigation and administrative proceedings. She also has extensive experience handling commercial, business and contractual disputes, business transactions and family law matters.
In the area of health care, she has been involved in major litigation and arbitration matters, including the representation of hospitals and other health care providers in multi-million dollar disputes with managed care payors, as well as disputes between health care providers.
She also has extensive experience representing health care providers with Medicare and Medicaid issues, including reimbursement, overpayment, provider revocations, suspension hearings and prepayment reviews. She has represented clients in administrative proceedings at the state and federal level.
Vanessa Reynolds, a board-certified health lawyer for more than 16 years, supports Perez Health Law as Of Counsel with her more than three decades of healthcare law experience. She has represented both institutional and individual providers in healthcare operations, regulatory compliance, licensure, Medicare and Medicaid disputes and risk management. Because all healthcare providers, from sole practitioners to large multi-facility hospital systems, are governed by similar regulatory frameworks, she provides advice and counsel to those navigating the industry’s complex regulatory environment.
Reynolds most recently was a partner at the Fort Lauderdale office of Broad and Cassel (now Nelson Mullins), where she worked for more than 12 years. She was also certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance.
A frequent speaker to healthcare professional groups regarding regulatory compliance, she also served as an adjunct professor in St. Thomas University’s health care administration master’s degree program.
